Two questions

Is Jennifer Saunders' Jam and Jerusalem the worst, least funny, most obnoxiously, preeningly self-satisfied TV 'comedy' in the history of broadcasting?

What on earth is the appeal of Russell Brand? Brain dead zombie goth versions of Frankie Howerd we can surely live without.

Never watched the former. The trailer bore a strong cease and desist message. As for the other fella, you damn him with fain praise. It's yon emperor bloke running about in the scuddy again innit?

Well, if we're naming and shaming rubbish that passes itself of as comedy, we need look/listen no further than R. Scotland's offering
on Saturday at 12.00.
"Freefalling" seemed to be partially based on the premise that if you shout slang lavatorial terms loudly enough, they become amusing.
Sorry to use your blog for this, Tom, but you started it!

Well, I thought Freefalling was funny. I didn't hear episode 1 but heard episode 2 on listen again and I laughed out loud...not something that happened when I watched Jam and Jerusalem.
